What is life like on board?
Some information and recommendations to make your stay more enjoyable:
You are now fully part of the crew. You can enjoy participating in sailing and navigation. You are also asked to perform daily tasks and keep the sailboat in a state of order and cleanliness during your stay, for the good of all and your safety.
Some tasks are necessary at the stopover: shopping, filling up with water or fuel, ice but also emptying the bins or doing some cleaning and tidying on board. It’s not a big deal, and if everyone participates, it will give everyone more time to visit the stopover location…
Daily tasks are shared. No sailing skills are required. You can participate in the manoeuvres of the sailboat under the supervision of the skipper. -
How are meals organised on the boat?
This active cruise is full board. You will go shopping with your skipper and help with the preparation of meals. Please check the terms and conditions of your quote. -
What payments do I have to make to confirm my reservation?
To confirm your booking, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will make an option for you while you collect your deposit. The reservation will only be considered final once we have received your deposit (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) of 50% of the amount of the reservation. A deposit of 100% will be required for all bookings made less than one month before departure. The balance must be paid at the latest 45 days before departure. -
What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?
If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking.
We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with Ouest Assurance: https://www.ouest-assurances.fr/en/
