The options are innumerable, its strategic location, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Pacific Ocean on the west, explains the great biological and natural diversity that the country possesses, with a great diversity of marine ecosystems and with more than 11000 km of coastline that house some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
We will focus our recommendations on the Mexican Pacific side, including the Gulf of California and Tehuantepec.
On the outskirts of La Paz, we find Balandra Beach, located in the state of Baja California Sur and which is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, easily accessible and characterized by its crystalline waters and white sand. The scenic beauty is so spectacular that some compare it to a natural swimming pool. Playa de los Muertos in Puerto Vallarta is one of the most popular beaches in the area, as it still preserves the tradition, the charm of the local vendors and its famous malecón where you can see the most beautiful sunsets in the area.
Rent a boat in Mexico and go to Love Beach in Cabo San Lucas, where there is a huge rock wall that divides the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean and where you can enjoy the rich natural landscapes of the country. Finally, we recommend you visit Nuevo Vallarta Beach where you can find everything you need, from water sports, to nightlife and, above all, its incredible gastronomy.
Mexicans usually say, "full stomach, happy heart," and they are not wrong. If Mexico is your holiday destination you will realize that the gastronomy and its products make the country a very special place. It doesn't matter where you eat, whether in a street stall or in a good restaurant, you will never go hungry. The food is so tasty, but above all it is known and appreciated all over the world that in 2010 it was named Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
And although we believe that Mexican gastronomy is often reduced to spice and the use of the same ingredients, the food is in fact very diverse.
On board your boat in Mexico, you can choose the best place to go down and enjoy a restaurant by the sea, or else ask for food to be brought to your boat.
Mexico is a place full of life, culture and tradition. Starting with the music and its famous mariachis as well as its parties, each one special. Some of the most representative elements of Mexico is The Day of the Dead, or what we all know as Halloween, which is a joyful celebration where colours predominate and is regarded as one of the most important days of the year as the whole family gets together to celebrate and eat at the cemetery.
The culture of the indigenous peoples is still very much present, so get on board your charter boat in Mexico and visit all the villages and learn about their history, you will be surprised!
The climate in Mexico is quite pleasant practically all year round. The sun shines almost every day, with an average of 300 to 340 days of sunshine a year. Not bad, right? Well, that's not all! The average temperature in summer is about 35 degrees and during the rest of the year it is difficult for it to go below 21 degrees. This makes it an ideal destination with pleasant and comfortable conditions for sailing.
You will be able to enjoy your boat along the great coast of the country, with radiant sun, good temperature and taking dips in its turquoise waters when you need to cool down. Besides, you have many entertainment options such as diving or snorkelling, and you will spend hours observing the fauna and the spectacular colours that the coral reefs under the crystalline surface of the Pacific offer you. Don't hesitate to get information about the best destination for diving and discovering the marine life, it is something you must do if you travel to the country.
The possibilities to reach the country are very varied. Mexico has 76 airports distributed throughout the country, however, the large size of this makes the choice of airport of arrival is very important to avoid very long journeys by land.
Boat rental in Mexico is a growing trend among tourists and those who want to experience the country from another perspective, therefore, the choice of your arrival airport will depend on the location of your port of departure.
If your port is located in Baja California in Marina Cortez, we recommend you arrive at the International Airport of La Paz which has national and international flights; however, another possibility is to arrive at the International Airport of Los Cabos, which is a little further south than the previous one but well connected to the port. If your port is Vallarta or Paradise Village marina, the best option is to get to Puerto Vallarta International Airport, located on the Pacific Ocean coast and with many international flights and connections.
