DAY 1 : Paros (Parikia port)
Your skipper will be waiting for you at 6 pm at the main port of Parikia, on the island of Paros. After dropping off your belongings, it's time to go shopping. You'll have dinner at the taverna in the evening, giving you a chance to get to know your skipper and the other crew members. Night on board.

DAY 2 to 7: Cruise
Set off in search of the riches of the Cyclades by taking an active part in life on a boat, taking the helm, tacking, trimming the sails... You'll also be asked to take part in the daily chores of this holiday, from preparing meals to washing up. Immerse yourself fully in the daily life of a sailor!

Below is a non-exhaustive list of possible stops on your cruise:
• Glide along the crystal-clear waters and coastline of the island of Folegandros before stopping off to enjoy its peaceful beaches, ideal for relaxing and admiring the scenery.
• Discover Santorini, the famous Greek island, renowned for its white houses and sunset. You'll sail into the pretty bay of Caldeira with an impressive view of the colorful cliffs. You'll also have the chance to pass the pretty village of Oia and the island of Thirasía.
• The small Cyclades form an archipelago of 4 islands (Iraklia, Schinousa, Keros...) and around twenty islets. Sail between these islands to discover their typical villages and swimming spots.
• Antiparos and Despotiko, two jewels of the Cyclades, separated by a sparkling bay with crystal-clear waters, where you can dive to discover a rich marine world. Antiparos charms with its cobbled streets and whitewashed houses, while Despotiko, smaller and uninhabited, is an archaeological treasure trove revealing the history of ancient civilizations.
• Sifnos is a still relatively unspoiled island, also known as the island of Apollo. Between mountain valleys, centuries-old olive groves and fine sandy beaches, there are plenty of opportunities for walking!

DAY 8 : Paros (port de Parikia)
Depart early for the port of Paros. You disembark after breakfast at around 10 am.

Please note:

  • The itinerary will be discussed with the skipper according to your wishes and the weather conditions for the comfort and safety of the crew.

    Frequently asked questions

    • Can I book my flights or a stay in addition to my cruise?

YES! Our travel agency offers to all our clients who embark on a cruise to book their flights or accommodations. Our tailor-made offers are adapted to your needs and budget.

We have created two offers 100% customizable:
      - Serenity Service: Booking of your air tickets
      - Extension Service: Booking of your accommodation (hotel, gite, villa...) and/or complementary activities (excursions, guided tours, car rental...) to enjoy the wealth of the heritage.

Our consultants, specialists in the destination, will send you their best vacation proposals.
    • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
    • How are my transfers between the airport and the boat organised?

Transfers are not included in this service. However, it can be arranged by your GlobeSailor consultant and the base manager by taxi or minibus. Payment for this service is usually made to GlobeSailor at the time of payment of the balance or directly on-site in cash. Do not forget to inform your consultant of your arrival time.
    • What's life like on board?

Some information and recommendations to make your stay more enjoyable:
You are now a full member of the crew. We hope that you will enjoy participating in the sailing, navigation and daily chores and keep the yacht tidy and clean during your stay for everyone's benefit and your safety.
Certain tasks are necessary during the stopover: shopping, filling up with water or fuel, ice, emptying the bins or doing a bit of cleaning and tidying up on board. They aren't huge tasks, and if everyone pitches in, it will give everyone more time to visit the port of call...
Daily chores are done together. No sailing skills are required. You can help manoeuvre the boat under the skipper's responsibility.
    • How are my meals organised on board the boat?

You will enjoy full board during your cruise, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Soft drinks and alcohol are not included. Please check the terms and conditions of your quote. Upon request, your consultant can provide you with the menu on board. They are often prepared with fresh and local products. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are allergic to certain foods or have a special diet.
    • What do I need to bring on my trip?

      In a soft bag :
      > Lightweight clothing that protects the skin from sunburn
      > Sunglasses
      > A hat that fits over your head
      > Sun cream
      >Sports shoes and white-soled shoes for the boat, of course
      > Towels (beach and shower)
      > Jumpers and oilskins (despite the sun, you need to protect yourself from the wind and sea spray)
      > A duvet (if you're chilly and depending on the season).
You don't need: Sheets, blankets or pillows.
We generally have diving equipment on board: masks, flippers and snorkels.
but we advise you to bring your own mask and snorkel...

If you already have a sailing licence or if you are a trainee, we offer you the opportunity to
to add to your experience and acquire the nautical miles you need for your training.
If you are undergoing treatment, don't forget your personal medication, as it will be difficult to find the equivalent without a prescription.
No special vaccinations are required. Mosquito repellent may be useful when you go ashore in the evening.
    • What payments do I need to make to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking, you need to inform your GlobeSailor consultant who will hold an option for you until your deposit is received. The booking will only be considered definite once your deposit has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card), of between 30% and 50% of the total cost of the booking. A 100% deposit will be required for all bookings made within one month of departure. The balance must be paid at the latest 45 days before the date of embarkation.
    • What happens in the event of a cancellation?

In the event of a cancellation, you must notify your GlobeSailor consultant as soon as possible. Whatever the cause, the following cancellation fees will be due: up to 90 days before departure: 30% /// from 89 to 60 days: 50% /// from 59 to 30 days: 75% /// from 29 days to departure: 100% of your booking.
We advise our clients to subscribe to a cancellation insurance with Ouest Assurance : http://www.ouest-assurances.fr
