Croatia

DAY 1: ACI Marina Dubrovnik
Meet in ACI Marina Dubrovnik (approx. 30 minutes drive from Dubrovnik airport) at 18h. Settle in and unpack your things on board, take part in the flagship crew's discussion about the itinerary and safety on board. We then suggest you have a drink with your fellow flotilla members to get to know each other better.

DAY 2: Dubrovnik - Sudurad (Sipan) (approx. 10 nautical miles)
In the morning, you set off on your first sail of the week to reach the island of Sipan, the biggest island in the Elaphites archipelago. You sail up the Kolocepski canal before mooring in Sudurad port. Although it is small, this village is home to beautiful monuments that you can see while strolling around (The Pakljena tower, the Church of the Holy Spirit, the castle of the Stjepović Skočibuha family, etc.). The island is also known for its olive oil and seafood, to be enjoyed in a konoba (traditional tavern).

DAY 3: Surdurad - Polace (Mljet) (approx. 22 nautical miles)
You cast off and set sail for Mljet. Throughout the journey, you can enjoy and admire the beautiful scenery of the Croatian coast. You will throw anchor in the sublime and peaceful Polace bay, the perfect place for diving or snorkelling. It is also one of the main entrances for visiting Mljet National Park, made up of a pine forest and two salt lakes (Veliko Jezero and Malo Jezero).

DAY 4: Polace - Korcula (approx. 15 nautical miles)
You will travel north-west in the direction of Korcula, an island filled with Mediterranean scents and landscapes of vineyards and olive trees. You will quickly fall in love with the town of Korcula and its medieval history, reflected in its architecture. There are plenty of ramparts and monuments to see (Saint Marcs Cathedral, the Veliki Revelin tower, etc.) Don't miss out on taking a stroll through the narrow streets before heading to the seafront to watch the beautiful sunset.

DAY 5: Sailing at your leisure
Today, you are free to organise your day however you wish. You can choose to sail solo or in small groups to discover new horizons (Trstenik, Prozura...) or you can return to somewhere you have already been (Mljet Island). The flagship crew will advise you on the possible stopovers depending on the weather conditions.

DAY 6: Okuklje (Mljet) (approx. 10 nautical miles)
You hoist sails and set off for Okuklje, a small fishing village situated at the base of a bay, surrounded by clear water. This is the perfect place to swim in complete peace and explore the underwater world of the bay with your snorkel, fins and mask. Once on land, you could also hike one of the trails and admire the views of the Adriatic Sea and its islands.

DAY 7: Okuklje - ACI Marina Dubrovnik (approx. 14 nautical miles)
To end this week in style, the flagship crew will organise a friendly flotilla regatta on the way back. This is the opportunity to show off your racing skills. A technician will be at your disposal if you run into any technical problem. This race will conclude with a prize giving ceremony and a festive evening. And why not finish this cruise with a delicious dinner with all the other crews?

DAY 8: ACI Marina Dubrovnik
Your disembarkment is scheduled for 9h.

We also offer other flotilla routes from Marina Agana (Trogir). Please do not hesitate to contact us.

Frequently asked questions

  • What documents do I need to travel to Croatia?

EU and Non EU citizens should check with the consulate of their country for information on formalities. Please see below for more information:

  • Can I book my flights and accommodation in addition to my cruise?

    YES!
Our travel agency offers guests who embark on a cruise to book their flights or accommodation. Our tailor-made offers adapt to your needs and budget.

We have created two offers that are 100% customisable:
    - Serenity Service: Book your flights
    - Service Extension: Book your accommodation (hotel, cottage, villa...) and/ or complementary activities (excursions, guided tours, car rental...).

Our advisors, specialists of the destination, will send you their best proposals for your holiday.
  • How can I arrange my transfer from the airport to the boat?

Your transfers are not included in your cruise package. If you wish, your GlobeSailor advisor can help you organize them. Don't hesitate to ask for more information.
  • What is a flotilla cruise?

A flotilla cruise consists of sailing with other boats (monohulls or catamarans) while being guided by a flagship. On board: a skipper, a technician and a hostess will be at your service whenever you need them (harbor maneuvers, anchoring...). You'll also receive daily briefings on your navigations, ports of call, the weather...
The other advantage of this type of program is the freedom of movement. In fact, if you want to get to a particular place, you can easily slip away for a few hours (with a little advance notice to the flagship, of course).
Flotillas are for everyone, whether you are a novice or an experienced sailor.
In fact, your boat rental can be with or without a skipper.

In short, this type of cruise is equally suited to couples, families and friends.
  • How does the provisioning work?

Food and beverages are not included in your package, but we suggest you do your shopping before you arrive. We offer different types of packages. Please contact us for more information.
  • Is everyone English speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding.
  • What happens in the case of cancellation?

If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
