Map
Italy

DAY 1 : Pozzuoli - Procida (about 6 miles)
Meet at 6pm in the South Cantieri Marina for your boarding. After making yourself comfortable on the boat, the skipper will cast off and set sail for Procida Island. You will make a stopover in the colorful bay of Corricella. It is bordered by an old fishing village with unique houses. The absence of a car will make your stroll through the town very pleasant. While going up to the fortress of Terra Murata you will be able to admire the view of the bay. Dinner and night on board.

DAY 2 : Procida - Ischia (about 12 miles)
How about starting your day with an early morning swim? After breakfast, set sail for Ischia. You anchor in the bay of Sant'Angelo and take advantage of the Maronti beach to relax in the sun or visit the small village of Fumarole. In the afternoon you sail back to Ischia Ponte and its famous medieval castle, the Aragonese Castle. Dinner is served in front of the castle.

DAY 3 : Ischia - Capri (about 19 miles)
This morning, you leave in the direction of the dazzling Capri. You sail around the island and discover the unmissable Faraglioni (3 rocks about 100 meters high, emerging in the middle of the water). The crew proposes for you to explore the Blue Grotto located in the northwest of the island. You will be surprised by the effects of light and its crystalline water. A little later, you will moor in the Piccola Marina and disembark to visit the village of Capri in a chic atmosphere. Dinner and night at the quay.

DAY 4 : Capri - Positano (about 12 miles)
You set sail for the Almafitan coast. You take a swimming break near the 3 Galli Islands (Gallo Lungo, Castelluccio, and Rotonda). Legend has it that they were inhabited by mermaids bewitching the sailors, who would eventually crash into the rocks. Then you reach Positano, a pastel-colored village built on the mountainside. Take advantage of this stopover to stroll through its narrow streets, visit the small church of Santa Maria, and taste the unmissable Limoncello. Dinner and night on board.

DAY 5 : Positano - Amalfi (about 6 miles)
After breakfast, you sail to Amalfi. On the way, you make a stop near the Furore Fjord. It shelters a charming beach with turquoise water and a small fishing village. This impressive fault in the rock is overhung by a 30 meter high bridge. In the afternoon, you accost the beautiful Amalfi, classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site. This city steeped in history has an important heritage (St. Andrew's Cathedral, the Crucifix Basilica, the paper museum...) not to be missed. Dinner and night on board.

DAY 6 : Amalfi - Sorrento (about 18 miles)
Those who wish can take a bus to Ravello (extra charge), a town perched 350 meters above the sea offering a breathtaking panorama. It is highly appreciated by visitors for its architecture, gardens, and monuments (Villa Ruffolo, Villa Cimbrone, Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium...). The crew hoists the sails in the early afternoon to reach Sorrento. You will have well deserved to have a coffee in the central square of "piazza Tasso" to relax. Dinner and night on board.

DAY 7 : Sorrento - Pozzuoli (about 18 miles)
You spend the morning in the bay swimming and walking in Sorrento. After lunch, it will be time to raise the anchor to reach the port of Pozzuoli. During the crossing, you will pass by the oldest castle in Naples, the Castel dell'Ovo (or Castle of the Egg) located on the islet of Megaride. At the end of the day you arrive in the Pozzuoli marina. Overnight at the dock.

DAY 8 : Pozzuoli
Your disembarkation at Pozzuoli is scheduled after breakfast, around 9 am.

Frequently asked questions

  • What are the necessary documents to travel in Italy?

As an EU-citizen you only need a valid national identity card or passport to travel to Italy.

This information is subject to change by the authorities of the country visited. It is not uncommon for border crossing rules to change.

Nationals of other countries should inquire about formalities at the consulate of their home country.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • Who takes care of my flight to Italy?

Your plane tickets can be booked by the GlobeSailor team. You just have to specify it to your adviser when booking your cruise.
  • How are my transfers between the airport and the boat organized?

Your transfers are not included in your cruise package. If you wish, your GlobeSailor consultant will be able to help you organize them. Do not hesitate to ask him or her for more information.
  • How does a cruise with a hostess and skipper work?

All the skippers we offer are registered and have the necessary professional certificates. They speak English fluently. The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Do not hesitate to take part in maneuvers with him, he will be happy to teach you the basics of navigation. Concerning the organization, the skipper and the hostess/cook sleep on the boat (either in the saloon or in cabins).
All our cabin cruises include the services of at least one skipper and one hostess (unless otherwise specified in the contract).
  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
  • Are the menus adapted to special dietary requirements?

We strive to offer the best possible services on our cruises and providing special dietary options are part of this. Please inform your charter advisor of any dietary restrictions or requirements well in advance of the cruise, so that the crew may be informed and make the necessary adaptations to the menus provided.
Please note that the preparation of adapted menus adds a certain level of complexity for our hostesses/cooks, who will prepare meals for 12 guests on board. Sourcing good quality substitute products also incurs additional costs. It is therefore necessary for us to charge a supplement, in order to guarantee that all our guests on board receive the same level of quality service.
  • Can I bring alcohol on board?

No passengers are allowed to bring bottles of alcohol on board.
  • What's included in the on-board fees?

The on-board fees include the following items:
  • Payment of national park taxes
  • Tourist and landing taxes in the islands
  • The costs of anchorage and mooring at certain ports of call
  • The costs of possible additional supplies including: fresh water, fuel, gas, fresh products...

The reservation will not be considered final until your deposit has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card), from 30 to 50% of the amount of the reservation.
