Step aboard a Catlante 600, a 17 metre long and 8 metre wide catamaran. Its interior and exterior layout offers spacious and friendly spaces so that each guest feels at home. The aft deck will allow you to enjoy your meals with ease while enjoying the scenery. You can sit on the comfortable bench on the flybridge and enjoy the 360-degree panoramic view. The boat's wide rear skirts ensure comfort and safety during your swims.

This catamaran has 6 cabins (3 doubles, 1 twin (changeable into a double) and 2 triples) and can accommodate up to 14 passengers. All cabins have a double bed or 2 single beds (and an extra single bed for triple cabins), a porthole, a fan, bedside lamps, storage, a bathroom with a shower and a toilet.

DAY 1: Macinaggio (Corsica) - Meria
You will embark from the peninsula of Cap Corse, the northernmost region of the island of beauty. Arrive at Marina Macinaggio from 6pm, where your crew will be awaiting you. Enjoy a welcome cocktail while getting to know the other passengers. The skipper will present the safety instructions for the cruise. You will set sail for Meria and spend the night in a sheltered anchorage.

DAY 2: Meria - Capraia Island
The crew hoists the sails and heads towards the island of Capraia. On the sailing journey, you will pass through the Pelagos Sanctuary.A protected maritime area, the result of an agreement between France, Italy and the Principality of Monaco, whose purpose is to preserve marine mammals (sperm whales, beaked whales, dolphins, etc.). Step off board in the small port of Porto Vecchio, the ideal starting point to explore the treasures of the island. Adventurers can follow hiking trails that lead to the remains of an old prison or to the only village on the island (can be accessed by bus for €1 *).You will have the chance to visit the village's Saint-Nicolas church, the Sacred Heart of Jesus and its 16th century Genoese fortress. Enjoy a well deserved ice cream at La Gelateria and a relaxing break in Cala San Francesco. Spend the night at anchor.

DAY 3: Capraia Island - Marina Marciana
Enjoy a delicious breakfast in front of the colourful houses of Porto Vecchio, before walking along the east coast towards the south and enjoy the wild landscapes around you. At the tip of the island, observe the red rocks, remnant of an ancient volcanic eruption and the Torre Zenobito. Your cruise continues to Marciana Marina, the smallest village on the island of Elba. For your free afternoon, we advise you to visit Mount Capanne, standing at 1,019 metres and whose 360-degree view will not leave you disappointed! Reach the mountain by taking the 116 bus (3 €* round trip) then a gondola or "cabinovia" (20 €* round trip). At the end of the day, you can stroll through the village and see the port tower Marcian and the church of Santa Chiara. Spend the night at anchor.

DAY 4: Marina Marciana - Gulf of Viticcio - Portoferraio
In the morning, sail further east of the island, to the Gulf of Viticcio. Both preserved and naturally beautiful, it is the ideal place to relax and swim in turquoise water. Continuing north, you will soon reach Cap d'Enfola and its old tuna fishing port. You then return to the capital of the island, Portoferraio fortified by the Medici. Admire its Renaissance architecture. Its port was also considered one of the safest in the world by the famous Admiral Nelson. Stroll around and visit the tower of the Linguella, the fortress Falcone and the Stella fort. Why not spend the evening on the terrace sipping a Spritz**? Spend the night at anchor.

DAY 5: Portoferraio - Ortano - Porto Azzurro
The exploration of the Tuscan archipelago continues as you sail to Cape Vita. From the flybridge, see beautiful bays. anchor in front of the beach of Ortano and its islet. Its crystal clear waters are perfect for snorkeling and swimming with fish. In the early afternoon, you will leave for Porto Azzurro, a fishing village renowned for its history and festive atmosphere. From the boat you will see the impressive fortress of Santiago. Stroll through its streets and discover its religious architecture and a little more in the heights, the sanctuary of Monserrato. Spend the night at anchor.

DAY 6: Porto Azzurro - Innamorata - Marina di Campo
Start the day by sailing towards the legendary beach of Innamorata (the lover) and the Gemini Islands. According to legend, two lovers, Maria and Lorenzo, were separated when Lorenzo was taken prisoner on a corsair. Maria, watching the scene from the beach, thought she saw a body thrown overboard. In a desperate rush, she decided to swim to rescue him, but in vain... The shawl of the deceased was found on a rock, called "the sash". Enjoy the morning paddling around in a kayak before you set sail again. Stop at Marina di Campo, the island’s largest beach for the evening. Relax on the terrace of a bar before going to bed.

DAY 7: Marina di Campo - Fetovaia - Cap Corse
Spend a relaxing morning in the protected cove of Fetovaia. Lay on its long sandy beach under the sparkling sun or enjoy water activities (paddle, snorkeling) in its turquoise waters. Sail by the Pelagois Sanctuary once more, to reach Cap Corse. Keep an eye out for dolphins... Depending on the weather, you will spend the night in Meria or in the marina of Macinaggio.

DAY 8: Macinaggio
You will disembark at 9am, after your breakfast.

  • Is everyone on board English speaking?

    Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English speaking travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
    Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer a multilingual service.
  • How are transfers between the airport and the boat organised?

    Transfers are not included in your package. However, they can be arranged by your GlobeSailor advisor and the base manager, by taxi or minibus. Payment for this service is usually made to GlobeSailor at the time of the balance payment or directly on site in cash. Don't forget to send your arrival times to your advisor!
  • How is a cruise with a skipper and a hostess organised?

    All the skippers we offer are registered and have the necessary professional certificates. They speak English fluently. The skipper is responsible for the navigation and your safety on board. Do not hesitate to participate alongside him in the manoeuvres, he will be happy to teach you the basics of navigation. Regarding the organisation, the skipper and the hostess/cook sleep on the boat (either in the saloon or in cabins).
    All our cabin cruises include the services, at a minimum, of a skipper and a hostess (unless otherwise stated in the contract).
  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

    It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
  • What payments do I have to make to confirm my reservation?

    To confirm your reservation, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will ask for an option for you to collect your deposit. The reservation will only be considered final once your deposit received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card), from 30 to 50% of the amount of the reservation. A deposit of 100% will be required for any reservation within one month of departure. The balance will be due no later than 45 days before the boarding date.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

    If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking.
