Day 1 - Santa Cruz, Tenerife (47 miles)
Step onboard your catamaran at the port of Santa Cruz in Tenerife, perfectly located in the town centre. Before setting sail, make sure to refuel and stock up on provisions from some of the nearby shops. On this first day of navigation, head in the direction of Puerto Mogan. This stage of the journey between the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria covers 47 miles and should take around 10 hours of sailing.

Day 2 - Puerto Mogan (75 miles)
Puerto Mogan on the island of Gran Canaria is a small fishing town, which has now developed into a pleasure marina with unique character. Puerto Mogan has kept its unique charm, with its typical Mediterranean coloured houses covered in foliage. Puerto Mogan is sometimes called ‘Little Venice’ because of its network of sea water canals which wind around the port in spectacular style. Covering 75 miles, this 2nd stage of your sailing route in the Canary Islands will bring you to San Sebastian after roughly 14 hours of navigation.

Day 3 - San Sebastian de la Gomera
San Sebastian is the main town of the island of La Gomera and its port was one of the stop over points for Christopher Columbus during his journey towards America. Sheltered by a natural bay, San Sebastian offers a calm and tranquil mooring. This town is home to numerous sights and places of interest such as the church of La Asunción or the Torre del Conde, a tower dating back to the 15th century.

Day 4 - La Gomera (40 miles)
After a restful night’s sleep, hoist your sails and enjoy a day of sailing around the island of Gomera. It is one of the smallest islands of the Canary archipelago. You can explore the Garajonay National Park, listed on Unesco’s World Heritage list and perfect for hiking and walking. Far from the clutches of mass tourism the wild nature of La Gomera has been perfectly preserved and offers exceptional natural beauty. Your tour around the island will cover around 40 miles and take you 8 hours on average, on this 4th day of sailing.

Day 5 - Santa Cruz de la Palma (56 miles)
Continue your cruise around the Canary Islands, and set sail for Santa Cruz de Palma. This stopover is situated on the western island of La Palma, one of the most mountainous and humid islands of the Canaries archipelago. The old town of Santa Cruz de la Palma is a protected historic and artistic site due to its many palaces and colonial style buildings. There are around 56 miles and 11 hours of navigation to reach Santa Cruz de la Palma from the island of La Gomera.

Day 6 - Puerto Colon (66 miles)
Next step, set off in the direction of Puerto Colon. On the island of Tenerife, Puerto Colon boasts numerous infrastructures and is well protected, here you can moor and enjoy a stopover. After having lowered your sails at Puerto Colon, you can make the most of the beautiful sandy beach of La Pinta, situated very close the marina. 66 miles and around 13 hours of navigation separate Santa Cruz de la Palma and Puerto Colon.

Day 7 - Santa Cruz de Tenerife (46 miles)
Your cruise is drawing to a close and it’s time to head back to Santa Cruz in Tenerife. It will take around 10 hours of sailing to cover the 46 miles to the departure base. Take some time to explore this modern town which has held onto its charm and authenticity, before you make your final journey towards home shores.
