We really enjoyed the boat and had a tremendous week exploring Portugal’s southern coastline.
She was a super bareboat charter. She has been well looked after and is equipped with the home essentials that a cruising boat should have. This was our fifth family yachting holiday and she had the most completely equipped galley and cabins. It was a pleasure to sail her and we achieved good speeds.
The Algarve coast appears to be a hidden gem for a cruising holiday with its delightful and variable coastline. There are plenty of boat only coves and beautiful estuaries, providing lots of opportunity to anchor. It is also easy to book into a marina's (if the crew need some steady ground and shops etc) with a phone call that morning. With the Algarve's consistent winds you can make good progress. She is a well maintained boat and a very enjoyable sail.

We went from Trinite to Brest and back in two weeks. It requred 2 night passages to fit in the tidal window at Pointe du Raz. We've been actually very lucky with the weather with only one day with the rain but still it was cold in June (+10 at night). Thanks to the heater, we survived, but take a warm clothing. Region is just stunning and incredible interesting in terms of culture, seaman traditions and tidal navigation. Charter company was really friendly and all requests and minor issues was resolved quickly and efficiently. The boat was in a good sound condition although the clocks are ticking and you can sometimes see and feel the real year of production of this pretty (mostly in cosmetic details like finishing, teak in the cockpit, etc) All functional elements worked well except the rudder which was slightly too hard for the girls crew. Unfortunately gennaker was ripped by previous carterers and we really missed it on the way back from the Brest with a lot of broad reaching. Overall, only the best impressions and strong suggestions to sail in Brittany!

On our Azorian voyage on the beautiful, spacious yacht 'Let's Sea' (Bavaria C45, model 2019) we travelled 175 nautical miles and experienced the full weather spectrum of the Azores. The itineray was very rich - sailing, anchoring in beautiful bays, whale & dolphin watching, exploring the islands. The food on board prepared by the captain was delicious.
We feel very lucky to have chosen this charter company. Not only was it great to have a female captain in charge, but we really enjoyed their company and they loved to share their passion. They were wonderful hosts and it really was a memorable adventure!

The charter company did a good job. The boat was in good condition. Sails were in good to fair condition. The rest of the boat was good to excellent.

We had a week with a lot of wind. Perhaps too much wind for our comfort sometimes. This was our first charter in the Trade Winds so we had not sailed in 20-30 knots and 2 plus meter waves. So we ended up sailing just on the protected side of the island.

We spent a wonderful week on holiday in November sailing the beautiful waters of Tenerife on the Makani Bali Catspace catamaran with Captain Slava. The sailboat was immaculately equipped and maintained, and very comfortable for 4 adults and 3 children. Captain Slava was very accommodating, adjusting our itinerary to maximize our fun and relaxation! Also, we highly highly recommend also booking chef Oleg. Oleg was amazing and cooked wonderful meals for us, making an incredible vacation even better! He was also very good cooking for our picky children! All in all it was an amazing trip and we highly recommend both Captain Slava and Chef Oleg! You will not regret it!

From the start, Ivan (the CEO/Owner) was excellent, sent through example itineraries, sorted out where to park (we have a big old camper van) and great run through of the yacht. The sailing was spectacular, we had good weather start to finish, some fog in the mornings, which we learned off our Irish neighbours in Cangas marina was a feature of the weather in. August, this did not get in the way of our sailing. Ivan managed to sort out a permit for us to anchor off Islas Cies, which is a must visit destination in the area, it was fairly busy with boats and anchorage was limited so I'd recommend getting there in the morning (early). All in all, we had a fantastic time, on a great yacht, from an excellent charter company, Highly recommended,

It is a fantastic harbour to discover south-england and the channel-islands. the boat is not in perfect condition and for high season price/quality overrated.

The Marina at Cherbourg is an excellent location to discover South-England and the Channel Islands. It is accessible 24h/24h, which gives no restrictions for planning trips.

The welcome/reception upon arrival was short, most likely because we arrived after noon and the office on a Saturday only is open till 12h00. We where guided to the boat and keys where handed over, but: an overall tour on the boat explaining all of its functioning was not included. The cleaning of the boat was only done superficial.

Boat condition:
- Kitale, Oceanis 411, dates from 1999 and is a nice sailing vessel.
- Saturday we discovered that both navigation and steam lights did not function. It was inspected on Sunday by the owner and a missing light bulb was installed in the navigation lights. However, the steam light was not repaired.
- the boat has good sails and is well equipped to go on the ocean. all charts, safety equipment and repair kits are present and in good condition;
- elements for daily use that where missing: 2/4 mooring lines, 2/8 fenders (and one flat).
- the spare hand-held port and starboard navigation lights and stern light did not have functioning batteries;
- the cabin window on the starboard side is leaking. It is a known problem, covered with duck-tape.
- the autopilot is not functioning and sometimes functioning of navigation instruments vanished and re-start up was required;
- the system for the pumping off the water of the shower is not working or its functioning is not clear. We did not manage to get it done, called on that but did not receive an answer.
- the engine of the dinghy was spilling oil (known problem), the Jerrican only contained a minimum amount of fuel;
- we repaired the deck brush;
- some of the comments indicated where already handed over in previous check-lists and also available from the log book. It is a pity action was not yet taken.
- maybe it is time to do some hull polishing.

Upon arrival, Saturday morning, we overall cleaned the boat and left, the keys where put on the navigation table.

Destination: the region is absolutely beautiful and also fun sailing. South England is within reach of 15h of sailing. Isle of White has interesting nature, evidence of defence infrastructure, nice marina's, places to visit such as Osbourne House. The Channel Islands show a mixture of English and French history and beautiful nature, with nice bays (Alderney, Sark) and very lively and friendly marina's and cities worth visiting (St. Helier, St. Peter Port) at Jersey and Guernsey.

With a little bit of effort, this sailing boat can be brought in top-condition, which would give its hosts full satisfaction upon sailing. We absolutely had a top holiday and very much enjoyed the sailing. However, in this condition we judged the price overrating the quality-service received.
