One-way Sailing Itinerary from Split to Dubrovnik

Depart from Split, and here lies Milna, an old fishing village on the north western side of the island of Brac. There is two very safe and well equipped marinas ACI Marina Milna and Marina Vlaška in Milna. Which is 12 nautical miles from Split. Milna offers a great place to relax on your Croatian sailing holiday as there is a famous gift shop called Vislander which sells specialty wines. There is also the facilities for scuba diving and snorkeling on the island as well as a tennis court. Milna has a versatile range of activities for everyone to enjoy during your yacht charter. We recommend anchoring at ACI Milna, a marina on the island.

Depart from Milna and make your way towards Hvar town which is an ancient town with great importance for history, culture and architecture of Croatia. You can take a taxi boat from anchorages on the Pakleni Island's which can bring you to the main island. We strongly suggest stopping in the main city and enjoying a walk between the historical buildings up to the fortress, where you can witness a beautiful view. There are so many beautiful beaches on this island, and having a private boat allows you to explore them all and find your perfect spot. We recommend anchoring in ACI Marina Palmižana and taking a taxi boat across to Hvar's mainland.

Begin your day in Hvar and sail to Scedro which is full of untouched beauty and many hidden coves. The island of scedro is an intimate experience for all guests. You can have lunch and swim in one of the several beautiful bays south of Hvar. There is an abandoned monastery on the island, where according to legend he took the doors off the monastery and used them to sail to Hvar.

Depart from Scedro and on your wat to Korcula, you'll sail through the Peljesac channel which is a narrow channel that lies between the Peljesac peninsula and korcula which offers a great sailing experience. Due to the North westerly winds the channel is infamous among windsurfers across the globe. This small town is dubbed 'Little Dubrovnik' as it's dripping with culture, medieval streets and marble walls. A tourists faveourite on the island is Polo House which according to legend Marko Polo was born. We recommend anchoring for the night at Plaza Banjo an anchorage oln the north east of the island.

Begin your day in Korcula and make your way toward the island which is known for being the most forrested island in the Adriatic, and one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean. Cycle or walk around the national park and enjoy the fabolous beaches. There are several villages on the island as well as two saltwater lakes. We recommend ending your day of sailing at Sapluna Bay Anchorage which is on the southern tip of Mljet.

Begin the day in Miljet and sail towards the island of Sipan. Sipan is the largest of the Elaphiti island group, and Šipan is famous for its excellent small family restaurants and its delightfully laid-back ambiance. Which you can bask in before retutrning to the Croatian mainland the next day. We recommend wrapping up your day of sailing at Luka Sipanska anchorage which is on the quay.

On the last leg of your yacht sailing holiday depart from Sipan and make your way towards the beautiful city of Dubronik. The rich history of Dubrovnik is evident in every wall and stone in the old town of Dubrovnik whihc has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1979. The city walls are in their original form and are preserved and open to visitors as the cities flagship attraction. Dubrovnik is the number 1 attraction in the whole of Croatia, so you will not be stuck for things to do.
