Grenada
Duration: about 4 hours
Minimum 20 participants - Maximum 120 participants
The west coast of the island is home to many of Grenada's unique characteristics: spices and cocoa from the Dougaldston estate, nutmeg from Gouyave, high altitude, waterfalls and... plantations!
From St. George, we will follow the northern route, which runs along the Caribbean Sea. Small fishing villages follow one another and the beaches form a long ribbon of coral and volcanic sand. Life flows quietly, peacefully, on a rhythm unique to the Caribbean. However, in Gouyave, fishing is not the only source of income. Indeed, this small town is home to a big surprise: the nutmeg-producing cooperative, well protected behind very high walls. You will find yourself plunged in the middle of the 19th century: no conveyor belt, no machines; the long production line of this precious spice is exclusively entrusted to the hands and skilful fingers of the big-hearted "mammas". Expect to enter the kingdom of women! Humble and conscientious, the movements they perform day after day are the fruit of an ancestral - jealously guarded - tradition of nutmeg. Gestures that have enabled this cooperative to raise Grenada to the second rank of exporting nations.
Finally, we will leave Gouyave to join the Dougaldston estate, another very rural place. Founded in 1700, this former cocoa plantation offers a complete palette of the island's spices and scents. On the way back, we will certainly make a small detour to admire the Concorde Falls and discover a completely original type of plantation... on the hillside!
Duration: about 4 hours
Minimum 20 participants - Maximum 60 participants
This moderate to sporty excursion is dedicated to hiking enthusiasts.
Leaving St. George's, we will take the steep and winding road that leads to the top of the rainforest, a remarkable site at 550 meters above sea level.
At this point you will have reached the Grand Etang forest reserve which spreads out around a crater lake. This natural environment represents a formidable environment for wildlife. In the wooded areas, you can still encounter, with a little luck, a dozen or so bands of Mona monkeys, a race originating from West Africa, introduced to Grenada a few centuries ago and probably arrived on the island with a cargo of slaves.
The hike starts with the crossing of a private plantation of nutmeg, cocoa, bananas, mangoes, coconuts... and tropical flowers before entering the forest and walking to the falls. The condition of the trail can be muddy and slippery if the weather has previously been rainy, so it is imperative to bring suitable footwear that is not precious to you! On arrival at the falls, you will nevertheless be able to refresh yourself there.
Saint-Vincent
Duration: about 3h30
Minimum 7 participants - Maximum 60 participants
The tour begins by crossing the island's capital, Kingstown, and its neighborhoods of colonial and modern architecture and then continues through the Mesopotamian Valley and its spectacular scenery. The Marriaqua Valley is often referred to as the "granary" of the island with its plots of banana, nutmeg, cocoa, breadfruit, coconut and leguminous plants. Your first stop is at the Montreal Garden, one of the two prettiest floral sites on the island. The garden offers a wide variety of tropical plants.
In this tranquil, majestically arranged place, discover bougainvillea, frangipani, hibiscus, not to mention anthuriums with delicate flowers and glossy foliage. The garden also offers a special view of the surrounding farmland and the sea in the distance. After this visit, the crossing of the island continues through small villages where you will see workers working with machetes on the hillsides. Finally you will follow the picturesque Atlantic coast and discover superb panoramic views of the capital and the port.

Martinique

The gardens of Balata are the work of Jean-Philippe Thoze, horticulturist and landscape gardener, who has devoted 20 years of his life to developing his personal garden and gathering a splendid collection of plants, which has become a wonderful botanical park.
You will walk under the trees, discovering at every bend in the path a profusion of plants and flowers, which have been subtly organized around an authentic Creole house that has been entirely renovated.
After this visit, you will return to Fort de France by the Jesuit Trail, a road opened by the members of the congregation in the 18th century. This trail winds through giant bamboos, lianas and tree ferns. Back in Fort de France, a panoramic coach tour will allow you to discover the most characteristic monuments of Fort de France: Fort Saint-Louis, a 17th century military building of the Vauban type, with the Place de la Savane at its feet where majestic trees are enthroned : royal palms, "hat the bishop", tamarind trees, the statues of Belain d'Esnambuc and Josephine Tascher de la Pagerie, the wife of Napoleon Bonaparte, the Schoelcher Library designed by the architect Henry Picq, a contemporary of Gustave Eiffel, classified as a historical monument in 1993 etc ....
Saint-Lucia
Duration: about 3 hours
Minimum 10 participants - Maximum 80 participants
A leisurely stroll through the village of Soufrière takes you to the central square and in front of the cathedral.
Your first stop will be the Soufrière volcano, reputed to be the only volcano in the world accessible by car. This historic site is the result of volcanic eruptions that occurred some 300,000 years ago. As you arrive, you will notice the smell of sulfur. Enjoy the benefits of nature: sulphurous water has been proven to have many healing properties.
The Botanical Gardens and Diamond Mineral Baths were made famous by Josephine de Beauharnais, Napoleon's first wife. The tropical plants beautifully arranged along the avenue will enchant you. Admire the beautiful waterfall with its changing colours and soak up every moment before returning to the bus.
After a short ride, you can enjoy a refreshing drink at the Villa des Pitons restaurant. Get your cameras ready, as this is one of the most spectacular and photographed sites here! In front of you, as you drink a homemade rum or fruit punch under the veranda, the famous Soufrière Bay and its two peaks majestically projecting into the sea. A short drive will take you back to the pier where you will board the ship.
