Everything was great - the office personnel and the senior technician Willy was incredibly nice and friendly!
Boat was in good condition, although had some minor issues, air conditioner wasn't working sometimes, but in general boat delivered a lot of joy.
The destination is great as well, visited a lot of interesting places.
One bad thing to mention - Ash, the local operations manager. We had some misunderstanding, but I provided him with my feedback, and I believe we managed to settle things down.
Everything else was just perfect and I'd like to thank everyone at The Globe Sailor team, and especially Pavel, for helping me to arrange this amazing adventure!

On the whole our experience was very good. The marina and personnel were excellent. We did have two minor issues. One, we had pre-ordered 4 paddle boards and 2 of them were completely flat and unusable. They did replace one and they also refunded our money plus a little more for the second, but it was a bummer not having the fourth board. Another thing we didn’t know was that the waters were full of jellyfish and jellyfish pieces. Everyone in our party was stung at least once. Not a huge deal and of course the renter has no control over this, but it was a surprise. We would definitely rent from this charter again.

Everything about the charter was great, my only comment for improvement would be to have better communication in English with the Captain in order to be able to align better on our desire to helm and crew more.

A wonderful, relaxing week in great company!

We ,met our Captain, Xavier at a beach where he collected us and took us over to his gorgeous catamaran by dinghy. We were greeted by his wife and our hostess Amanda and given time to settle in.

We had plenty of opportunity to input into the itinerary for the week, and were given great suggestions by Xavier and Amanda. Our goal was to have a wonderfully relaxing time, whilst exploring the island of Komodo and we very much achieved this.

We spent lots of time snorkeling and spotted a great variety of sea life close to the surface, so if you love snorkeling and swimming in the sea, this trip would suit you well. Xavier also took us manta spotting and we had the privilege of seeing one of these beautiful creatures after a couple of trips. Above ground we went into the national park and also saw some Komodo dragons wandering and sunbathing.

Food on the boat was amazing - Amanda is a great chef and tailored the food she made to suit our rather fussy teenager! We stopped at the only restaurant in Komodo one evening, but I have to say, Amanda's cooking was way better! If you're someone who likes to spend evenings in busy marinas and restaurants, then this trip isn't for you, but if you want to truly relax and eat very well, you'll be in heaven.

Xavier's catamaran is lovely and really comfortable - surprisingly large beds and plenty of storage space for clothes etc. There's different areas to sit and relax and space on the nets at the front to sunbath.

We had a wonderful time - thank you Xavier and Amanda for being fabulous hosts and for sharing your lovely boat with us.

We had the most incredible trip out of Ao Po Marina with this Globe sailor partner. Our Captain jim was an incredibly talented and knowledgable sailor and guide with a passion and love of the area . Our wonderful hostess Min is possibly the greatest cook we have ever known, each meal ( one of us is also vegetarian ) was different full of flavour and top Michelin chef level.. we had the most helpful staff provide assistance in the run up to our trip and we would recommend using Fang & Fern for any trip or charter , they were professional , slick and made the whole process a pleasure .. we would like to thank Sam from Globe Sailor for all is initial patience and help in the planning and preparation , all of this ensured we had the most incredible first leg of our honeymoon
