I could not recommend this charter more highly. The boat was well presented, the briefing was the best we have ever had anywhere in the world, we had a few technical problems but they had people to the boat within two hours and when we had a medical problems they really stepped up.

We were very impressed with our catamaran cruise. The boat had plenty of room for 12 and the cabins were really comfortable and clean.
Both the captain and steward worked really hard to ensure all the passengers were looked after and the food was always tasty.
The optional tours were excellent and good value, as were the drinks on board (especially compared to hotel prices!!)
Overall it was an amazing way to get fully immersed in numerous islands rather than just sitting on one

I could not possibly say enough about how much our group loved this experience. The communication was impeccable. The boat was beautiful. The service was amazing. The Globe Sailor concierge service was extra useful. We had an absolutely magical time. The only bad part was that it had to come to an end.

But turn out, that was the best decision we did. We had the best chef ever, I don't have words enough to explain our happiness and satisfaction with Tehei like our hostess- we never eat so perfect food for 16 days in a row, and she is so calm, happy, organised and clean- she is the best. And so our captain- he was very professional, helpful, always attentive, always care about us. He was always securing us and the boat.He shows us the best snorkeling spots, he also was amazing. In general- fantastic crew.
The boat was very nice, comfortable, thanks for the water maker. Could be nice also ice maker and WiFi access point.

Relaxed sailing with off the beaten path options

The condition of the yacht was generally good, minor deficiencies were the state of the sheets and the sails, which were about to need an overhaul. The time of the year was well suited for sailing, despite the higher chance for rainfall. The thing to watch out for are the squalls moving in, one can never tell how strong it is going to blow, hence, best to reef in early. On the last day the top of the mainsail blew out in a heavy squall while we were putting in the second reef; but no worries, the charter company was relaxed about it.
Bora Bora was the least interesting of destinations; at least for us seeking less developed destinations. Maupiti and Huahine were our personal highlights! Really liked the passes and ocean passages.
Doing the eastern part of Bora Bora cannot be really recommended for monohulls; it is all the way shallow and too stressful for the skipper and crew for what it is worth.

Excellent and memorable experience with charter set up with tyc through globe sailor

Ian at Globe Sailor did a great job finding and booking a charter with TYC. Our family had an amazing 10 days on a Saba 50 sailing around Raiatea, Taaha, Huahine, and Bora Bora. Once Ian got the charter set up there was a seamless transition to TYC who organized the specifics around the itinerary and menu. Our skipper and hostess were amazing - fun to talk to and learn more about the local culture and did a great job making our family feel special and safe. I originally hesitated on including the hostess option but would 100% take the option again. Not that many restaurants on land, and our hostess made incredible meals typically with local fresh product and presentation. If we did it again over December Holidays would take TYC advice to meet the boat in Huahine and sail West as we met the boat in Raiatea and had a pretty choppy ride upwind to Huahine (and glad we made the effort because it is a great island) before coming back to the other islands. Last thing is we were a bit worried about being in French Polynesia during the rainy season - we had daily squalls for parts of days during the first half of the trip but didn’t impact our ability to do anything, and then second half of trip very little rain. We would 100% use both Globe Sailor and TYC again to book a charter.
