Grenadines

Day 1 : Le Marin (Martinique)
The crew will be waiting for you at Le Marin Marina from 6 pm for your boarding. Enjoy a welcome cocktail while your skipper explains the safety instructions that are essential to the smooth running of your cruise. After dinner, the skipper will cast off for an overnight sail. During this crossing, you will sail along the islands of Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent.

Day 2 : Bequia
Early in the morning, you wake up facing Bequia, the largest island in the Grenadines archipelago. You'll have the whole day to explore this lush island. We recommend that you take advantage of its heavenly beaches and turquoise waters to refresh and relax. Don't miss out on a stroll through the streets of Port Elizabeth. You'll discover St Mary's Anglican Church, built in 1829, and the remains of Fort Hamilton dating from the 18th century. Local guides are available to show you the island in detail (service at extra cost). Dinner and overnight at anchor in Admiralty Bay.

Day 3 : Tobago Cays
The day begins with a sail to the legendary Tobago Cays. This paradise reserve is made up of 5 islets linked by an incredible coral reef. Don't waste a minute! Put on your flippers, mask and snorkel and set off to meet a myriad of fish nestling in the coral. If you're lucky, you might even spot turtles and rays. Afterward, you can relax on a white sandy beach. For those with a sweet tooth, a traditional barbecue (fish or lobster, depending on the season) prepared by local fishermen is available (extra charge). Overnight at anchor.

Day 4 : Tobago Cays - Union - Mayreau
Enjoy breakfast in front of the Tobago Islands before setting sail again for a few miles towards Union. This mountainous island and its colorful villages are sure to charm you. The more adventurous can climb the 304-metre Mount Parnassus and admire the view, while others can wander through the villages of Clifton or Ashton. In the middle of the day, you'll head for Mayreau, one of the smallest islands in the archipelago. You can relax on its magnificent sandy beaches or visit Old Wall, the island's only hilltop village. Finish the day on the beach at Salt Whistle Bay, where you can sip a cocktail in front of the sunset. Overnight at anchor.

Day 5 : Mayreau - Saint-Vincent
This morning, you leave for Saint-Vincent and stop off in Cumberland Bay for lunch. On arrival, you will probably be intrigued by the local technique of ‘coconut mooring’. Once the anchor is dropped, the boats tie up to a coconut tree, preventing the boat from turning with the wind. The afternoon is yours to choose from: explore the island at your own pace or join an excursion (extra charge) to discover the picturesque villages and impressive waterfalls of Dark View. Overnight at anchor.

Day 6 : Saint-Vincent - Sainte-Lucie
Your cruise continues to Saint Lucia, an island of volcanic origin easily recognizable by its majestic Pitons on the southwest coast. You will drop anchor in La Soufrière Bay, where you will have lunch. In the afternoon, you will be offered an optional excursion to explore the wonders of the island: the hot springs and mud baths of Sulphur Springs, the botanical garden of Diamond Falls and its waterfalls, and the splendid spiritual garden of Maranatha Gardens. Take advantage of the last rays of sunshine to relax on the beach and admire the surrounding beauty. Overnight at anchor.

Day 7 : Sainte-Lucie - Sainte-Anne
On your final day, the crew will head for Sainte-Anne. During the crossing, you'll pass through the Sainte-Lucie canal, a passage often frequented by dolphins. Keep your eyes peeled for the chance to spot a few! Once there, take advantage of the beach to relax in the shade of a coconut tree or take a paddle to explore the coast and its landscapes. Overnight at anchor.

Day 8 : Le Marin
Wake up early for your return sail to the port of Le Marin. You disembark at around 9am, bringing this memorable adventure to a close.

Frequently asked questions

  • What documents do I need to travel to the Grenadines?

British passport holders do not need to acquire a visa to visit the Grenadines for more information read here https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/st-vincent-and-the-grenadines/entry-requirements
  • Can I book my flights or a stay in addition to my cruise?

    YES !
Our travel agency can book flights and accommodation for all our customers embarking on cruises. We offer tailor-made packages to suit your needs and budget.

We have created two offers 100% customisable :
    - Serenity Service : Reservation of airfares
    - Service Extension: Book your accommodation (hotel, gîte, villa...) and/or complementary activities (excursions, guided tours, car hire...) to make the most of our rich heritage.

Our advisors, specialists in the destination, will send you their best suggestions for your holiday.
  • How are my transfers organised between the airport and the marina?

Your transfers are not included in your cruise package. If you wish, your GlobeSailor advisor can help you organise them. Don't hesitate to ask for more information.
  • How does a cruise with skipper and hostess work?

All the skippers we offer are registered and hold the necessary professional certificates. They speak fluent English. The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Don't hesitate to take part in the maneuvers with him, he'll be delighted to teach you the basics of navigation. In terms of organization, the skipper and hostess/cook sleep on the boat (either in the saloon or in the forepeaks).
All our cabin cruises include the services of at least one skipper and one hostess (unless otherwise specified in the contract).
  • Does the boat only sail?

The catamarans and sailing boats offered for cruising move slowly in light airs, particularly in summer if the wind is too light, or if the boat's point of sail is not optimal. Engine support is sometimes necessary to keep to the stops on the itinerary and to ensure that you have a place in port or at anchor for the night. We cannot guarantee a minimum sailing time under sail. Nevertheless, your skipper will do his or her utmost to navigate under sail and involve those who wish to participate in the maneuvers.
  • What payments do I need to make to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will place an option for you while he/she collects your deposit. The booking will only be considered definitive once your deposit has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card), ranging from 30% to 50% of the total cost of the booking. A 100% deposit will be required for all bookings made less than one month before departure. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the date of embarkation.
  • What happens in the event of cancellation?

In the event of cancellation, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the cause, the following cancellation fees will be due: up to 90 days before departure: 30% /// from 89 to 60 days: 50% /// from 59 to 30 days: 75% /// from 29 days to departure: 100% of the amount of your booking. We advise our customers to take out cancellation insurance with Ouest Assurance : http://www.ouest-assurances.fr
