Saint Barthélemy

DAY 1: Marigot - Grand Case
Your adventure begins at the Fort Saint Louis marina in Marigot, the heart of Creole culture on the island of Saint-Martin. At 6pm, you'll be greeted by the crew with a delicious welcome cocktail. As the sun sets, discover your catamaran, your cabin and get your bearings on board. A short sail will take you to Grand Case, where you can enjoy your first dinner in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere.

DAY 2: Grand Case - Road Bay - Sandy Island - Crocus Bay
After a hearty breakfast, set sail for Anguilla, an unspoilt gem of the Caribbean, where each beach is more beautiful than the next. First, drop anchor at Road Bay and dive straight from the catamaran into the turquoise waters with your masks and snorkels. Then stop off at Sandy Island, a secluded islet surrounded by white sand and coral reefs. The day ends at Crocus Bay, a sheltered and peaceful anchorage where you can spend the evening and night.

DAY 3: Crocus Bay - Prickly Pear - Pinel Islet
On this fine morning, set sail for Prickly Pear. This is the ideal spot for diving and snorkelling enthusiasts so be sure to get out the fins, masks and snorkels! If you're lucky, you may even see dolphins and swim with turtles. In the early afternoon, head back to Saint-Martin to reach Pinel islet, a little corner of paradise nestling in Cul-de-Sac bay. Spend the evening in peace and quiet, savouring an aperitif as the sun sets and enjoying a magical, exotic experience.

DAY 4: Pinel Islet - Ile Fourchue - Gustavia
Embark on your catamaran for Ile Fourchue. A change of scenery: you're about to discover this natural jewel and its distinctive world, where hills and numerous species of cactus replace white sandy beaches. Drop anchor and explore this beautiful protected island on foot. A short hike will take you to spectacular views of neighbouring islands such as Pelee Island. Then head for Gustavia, Saint-Barthélemy's bustling capital. Stroll through the chic boutiques and lively bars, before returning to your catamaran for dinner and bed.

DAY 5: Gustavia
Take advantage of this day to explore the island of Saint-Barthélemy. On foot or hire car, discover the magnificent authentic villages of Corossol and Lorient and the island's magnificent beaches, such as Shell Beach and Governor Beach. Every corner of this island has its own history, a blend of tradition and innovation. At around 7pm, return to your catamaran to finish the day in style with a friendly dinner in Gustavia Bay. It's a chance for everyone to share what they've seen during the day.

DAY 6: Gustavia - Anse Colombier - Grand Case
This morning, set off for Anse Colombier, a natural area to the north of Saint-Barthélemy. You'll be spoilt for choice as you swim in the magnificent marine reserve, home to turtles, rays, lobsters and even dolphins. For nature lovers, a hiking trail leads to a breathtaking panorama of the Caribbean Sea. After lunch, return to Saint-Martin and anchor in Grand Case, a typical West Indian village. Enjoy a cocktail by the water and dine in a typical lolo. If you want to extend the evening, the lively alleyways are full of small bars where you can enjoy a nightcap in a festive atmosphere.

DAY 7: Grand Case - Creole Rock - Tintamarre Islet
Head for Creole Rock, a must for diving fans. This is one of the most beautiful sites for beginners and experienced divers alike. Then it's on to the wild islet of Tintamarre, where you can stroll along a stunning path around the uninhabited island or simply relax in the warm, clear waters. Sea turtles are a familiar sight and will delight diving enthusiasts. Lunch on board, then take the return trip to the Marina Fort Saint Louis (Marigot). End this unforgettable day with a final dinner on board.

DAY 8: Tintamarre Island - Marigot
It's time to say goodbye to your crew and the catamaran that has been your home for a week. You'll leave feeling rested and with your head full of memories.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I book my flights or a stay in addition to my cruise?

    YES!
Our travel agency offers all our customers who board a cruise the opportunity to book their flights or accommodation. Our tailor-made offers adapt to your needs and your budget.

We have created two 100% customizable offers:
    - Serenity Service: Reservation of your plane tickets.
    - Extension Service: Reservation of your accommodation (hotel, lodge, villa, etc.) and/or additional activities (excursions, guided tours, car rental, etc.) to take advantage of the riches of the heritage.

Our advisors, specialists in the destination, will send you their best proposals for your vacation.
  • How are my transfers organised between the airport and the marina?

Your transfers are not included in your cruise package. If you wish, your GlobeSailor advisor can help you organise them. Don't hesitate to ask for more information.
  • How does a cruise with skipper and hostess work?

All the skippers we offer are registered and hold the necessary professional certificates. They speak fluent English. The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Don't hesitate to take part in the manoeuvres with him, he'll be delighted to teach you the basics of navigation. In terms of organisation, the skipper and hostess/cook sleep on the boat (either in the saloon or in the forepeaks).
All our cabin cruises include the services of at least one skipper and one hostess (unless otherwise specified in the contract).
  • Is my cruise 100% English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusively open to English speaking travellers. It is quite common to meet people of different nationalities on board our cruises, as we attract an international clientele. This makes for many enriching exchanges and great encounters!
What's more, our crews are mainly English-speaking and qualified to offer you a multilingual service.
  • Does the boat sail only?

The catamarans and sailing boats on offer move slowly in light airs, particularly in summer if the wind is too light, or if the boat's point of sail is not optimal. Engine support is sometimes necessary to keep to the stops on the itinerary and to ensure that you have a place in port or at anchor for the night. We cannot guarantee a minimum sailing time under sail. Nevertheless, your skipper will do his or her utmost to navigate under sail and involve those who wish to participate in the manoeuvres.
  • What payments do I need to make to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will place an option for you while he/she collects your deposit. The booking will only be considered definitive once your deposit has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card), ranging from 30% to 50% of the total cost of the booking. A 100% deposit will be required for all bookings made less than one month before departure. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the date of embarkation.
  • What happens in the even of cancellation?

In the event of cancellation, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the cause, the following cancellation fees will be due: up to 90 days before departure: 30% /// from 89 to 60 days: 50% /// from 59 to 30 days: 75% /// from 29 days to departure: 100% of the amount of your booking.
