Caribbean

DAY 1: Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) - Les Saintes
Boarding is scheduled between 4 and 5 pm at the port of Pointe-à-Pitre, on the south coast of the island of Grande Terre. If you arrive in town early, take time to explore its rich historic centre, characterised by architecture dating from the late 19th century. We recommend a visit to the Memorial Act, a magnificent museum dedicated to the history of slavery. Once on board, it's time to discover the ship and make yourself comfortable in your cabin. The captain will weigh anchor at around 6pm, bound for the Saintes archipelago. You'll spend your first night rocking in the waves.

DAY 2: Les Saints
You wake up in the heart of this archipelago of 9 islands discovered in 1493 by Christopher Columbus. Today you will discover the two most important islands: Terre-de-haut and Terre-de-bas, each with its own strong identity. You have two choices of excursion:
At sea, aboard a motorboat, you'll set off on a truly remarkable panoramic excursion, stopping off at the bay of Marigot, the small uninhabited island of Grand Ilet and the island of La Coche. You'll finish with a snorkelling session on a beach on the island of Terre-de-Haut.
On land, you will head to the top of Terre-de-haut to visit Napoleon's fort, a fort dating from the 19th century. On a guided tour, you'll learn more about the history, culture and environment of Les Saintes. Following the tour, you'll be treated to a tasting of local specialities: fish crepes, torments of love, fruit juices and local punches.
Then it's time to head back to the boat via the island's picturesque streets.

DAY 3: Falmouth Bay
Today, you spend the day in Falmouth Bay, in the south of the island of Antigua and Barbuda. Disembarking at English Harbour Marina, renowned for its natural beauty and rich maritime heritage, you discover Nelson's Dockyard. This emblematic 18th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site offers you the chance to admire colonial forts, visit a museum dedicated to the island's shipyards and explore the world's only remaining Georgian dock. At the end of the afternoon, after strolling through the marina's shops and restaurants, return to the boat and enjoy a drink while watching the sunset.

DAY 4: Barbuda
This morning, your boat docks on the island of Barbuda. This island, smaller and more discreet than its neighbour Antigua, will charm you with its white sandy beaches and turquoise waters as far as the eye can see. It's a great opportunity to relax on the beach or to take a mask and snorkel to observe the seabed.
Bird lovers can take a boat trip (in English only) through the heart of the mangroves. Along the way, with the help of local guides, you can observe one of the most impressive colonies of frigatebirds. These seabirds, whose wingspan can exceed 2 metres and glide for hours without flapping, are used to living in colonies on isolated islands and coasts. Back on board, memories flood your mind. Why not end the day in style with a relaxing massage in the wellness area?

DAY 5: Charlestown, Nevis
In the early morning, you arrive in Charlestown, the largest village on the island of Nevis. Surrounded by the sea and lush mountains, Charlestown retains many stone buildings from the colonial era.
The birthplace of Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers of the United States, you will learn about the island's history in his childhood home during today's excursion (led by an English-speaking guide). You'll continue on to the Bath Hotel, frequented in the late 18th century for the benefits of its hot springs, before enjoying some free time in a craft village, and continuing on to the beautiful hillside Anglican church of St Thomas. For the final leg of this tour, you leave the city for the botanical gardens. You'll discover the most diverse landscape on the island: cacti, water lily ponds, a tropical greenhouse and even a vast Mayan temple...
Now it's time to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean by diving from the deck or taking a kayak or paddle board.

DAY 6: Gustavia
Your journey continues on the island of Saint-Barthelemy, more commonly known as Saint-Barth. You will disembark in Gustavia, the island's capital, with its chic and relaxed atmosphere. During the day, you can choose between the pleasures of the sea and the riches of the land.
By sea, you can board a boat and head off to the heart of the island's Marine Ecological Park to observe the rich marine fauna. It's recommended that you are comfortable with your mask and snorkel for this excursion!
On land, Ernest, a local descendant of the first French settlers to arrive on the island, will tell you all about the history of this ‘Little France’ in the Caribbean. On the agenda for your trip in the minivan: Shell Beach and its lighthouse, the Tourment pass, the Colombier and Grand Fond lookouts, and the Saline beach. You'll finish with a visit to Domaine Félicité with the owners of the place. You'll discover antiques and family anecdotes that tell the story of life on the island since the 17th century.

DAY 7: Prickly Pear Cays
Your last day of the cruise is dedicated to discovering the twin islands of Prickly Pear. The white sandy beach of Prickly Pear East, dotted with rocks, awaits you for a final snorkelling session. Be sure to spot the black-necked stilt, a rare bird that frequents the island's pond. On Prickly Pear West, you can enjoy your last encounter with the local wildlife, with the chance of spotting green turtles nesting on the island, iguanas and a variety of birds such as brown pelicans.
You can also accompany the Antigua National Park rangers as they go about their day-to-day duties. They will teach you more about the incredible biodiversity of these islands.
You re-board in the early afternoon and begin your journey towards Philipsburg. Enjoy the services offered by this exceptional ship one last time

DAY 8: Philipsburg
As your journey draws to a close, it's time to say goodbye to the crew and leave this magnificent ship. You disembark in Philipsburg at around 8am.

Important:
● Depending on the dates, the cruise may depart from Marigot (the French part of the island of Saint Martin) or Phillipsburg (the Dutch part of the island of Saint Martin), so the order of ports of call is reversed. In the case of a departure from Phillipsburg, the stopover on the island of Les Saintes is replaced by a stopover on the island of Marie-Galante.
● The order of stopovers shown above is given as a guide.
● The excursions mentioned are included but subject to availability. The excursions are only given in French, unless otherwise indicated
