Map
Grenadines

Day 1 : Le Marin - Bequia
Arrive at the port of Le Marin in the south of Martinique ready to step aboard your catamaran from 6pm. You will be able to get to know your crew and your fellow passengers over a welcome drink. After dinner, you will set sail and begin your journey in the Caribbean Sea. You will sail along the coast of Saint Lucia during the night and be able to see the outlines of its famous Deux Pitons.

Day 2 : Bequia - Mustique
This morning, you discover Admiralty Bay, a beautiful bay located on the west coast of Bequia. This tropical and hilly island offers magnificent spots for swimming and snorkelling (think turquoise water, white sand, coral reefs...) You head on to the mythical Mustique Island in the afternoon. Don't miss the renowned Basil Bar, often frequented by celebrities... Dinner and overnight at anchor.

Day 3 : Mustique - Tobago Cays
After hoisting anchor, you will set sail for Tobago Cays. Fans of snorkelling will be pleasantly surprised: the coral reef is shallow and populated with many colourful fish, turtles and rays. For lunch or dinner, you will be offered the traditional barbecue which you will eat on the local beach (extra charge of about €40/person). All the food is freshly caught and cooked in front of you by the fishermen. Your meal will include salads and fruits, local vegetables, fish or lobsters depending on the season. It's a real treat! Enjoy this Eden during the afternoon and evening. Night on board at anchor.

Day 4 : Tobago Cays - Mayreau
At around 11am, you will depart for the island of Mayreau. Lunch at anchor, before going ashore to visit this beautiful stopover. A small island which is barely 4km², it boasts 2 of the most beautiful beaches of the Caribbean: Salt Whistle Bay and Saline Bay. Discover, on foot, the unique village of Old Wall perched up in the hills. It is a very typical Caribbean town with its colourful wooden homes and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Towards the end of the afternoon, you will be able to enjoy relaxing on the beach in perfect tranquillity. Overnight at anchor in Mayreau.

Day 5 : Mayreau - Bequia
After breakfast, you head back to the island of Bequia where you will spend the day. It is the ideal place to relax and swim. We advise you to offer yourself (about €5/person) a tour of the island for one hour to discover the fishing village of Hamilton and its colourful boats, the turtle farm to the south, the small museum of whalers and splendid landscapes. Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight at anchor.

Day 6 : Bequia - Saint Lucia
The skipper weighs anchor at dawn (around 4am) to navigate for about 8 hours towards Saint Lucia. This beautiful volcanic island is an essential stop on your trip. You will make your first stop at La Soufrière for lunch and swimming. A little later, you will anchor in Marigot Bay. This magnificent bay is particularly appreciated by boaters for its countless coconut trees, and its mangrove beach crossed by a wooden bridge that leads straight to the bar, JJ's Paradise. Dinner and overnight in Marigot Bay.

Day 7 : Saint Lucia - Sainte Anne (Martinique)
After a good breakfast facing Marigot Bay, you take to the sea to reach Martinique (about 4 hours). Keep your eyes peeled during this crossing because it is not uncommon to see dolphins and whales in the vicinity. Arrival in Sainte-Anne, more precisely at Plage des Salines, for lunch. In the late afternoon, head to Sainte-Anne for the night and enjoy the entertainment of the village.

Day 8 : Saint-Anne - Le Marin
After an early breakfast, your catamaran will head back to base at the port of Le Marin. You will disembark at around 9am.

    Cudowne karaiby

    Barca fantastica, organizzazione molto meno

    Tutto molto bello! consigliato.

Frequently asked questions

  • What documents are needed to travel to the Grenadines?

British and US passport holders don’t need a visa to visit St Vincent and the Grenadines, but you must have a passport valid for at least 6 months. On entry, you will be granted a specified period to stay. If you wish to stay longer, you must apply and pay for an extension of your stay through the St Vincent Immigration Department.
For other nationalities you should consult the advice issued by your government's foreign office.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • How can I arrange my transfer from the airport to the boat? What about provisioning?

After you have made your booking the base manager will contact you to give you more information on your cruise. Make sure you confirm what time you will be arriving and also your flight details. A taxi or minibus can meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the boat at an extra cost.
Provisioning and meals will be taken care of by your crew. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian etc…) make sure to let the base manager know.
  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
  • What currency is used in the Grenadines?

The currency in the Grenadines is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar (EC$ or XCD)
    In 2024, 1 € = 2,89 EC$ et 1 EC$ = 0,33 €. However the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Eastern Caribbean dollar is fixed: 1 US$ = 2,70 $EC.
The Eastern Caribbean Dollar is used in 7 other English speaking Caribbean islands: Anguilla, Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint-Kitts and St. Lucia.
Leave home with US dollars or take cash out from an ATM when you are there. You can find some on most of the islands (except Mayreau), but be warned, they are sometimes out of order!
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.

The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.

The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding to GlobeSailor. Mandatory extras and options will be payable locally. Be sure to check with your advisor or the base prior to departure.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
