Mi única recomendación es que al viajar a Tanzania es conveniente llevar Cash ya que son pocos lugares los que se puede pagar con tarjeta.

L île de zanzibar n est pas encore bien équipée pour accueillir des voiliers ⛵️ mais j y retournerai avec plaisir

Rund um zanzibar & pemba

Das Personal hat uns vor unserer Abfahrt super betreut und alle unsere diversen Fragen als unerfahrene "Erst-Charterer" nicht nur mit viel Geduld sondern auch schnell beantwortet. Auch ein Pick-Up am Strand in Fußentfernung von unserem Hotel statt am Pier war genau so wenig ein Thema wie ein Drop-Off im Norden von Unguja, wo wir im Anschluss noch einige Nächte waren. Und da wir nach SUPs gefragt hatten, hatte Trevor vor Abfahrt noch zusätzlich zu dem ohnehin geplanten SUP zwei weitere besorgt. Chapeau!

Der Turn selber führte uns (2 Erwachsene und 3 Jugendliche) eine Woche lang von Zanzibar Stone Town um die Nordspitze von Unguja (aka "Zanzibar") nach Mnemba, dann weiter nach Pemba und dort entlang der Ostküste bis an die Nordspitze - und wieder zurück. Unterwegs diverse Schnorchelstops, Delfine bewundern, Angeln, Strandbesuche - alles so, wie wir es jeweils wünschten. Selbst Wasserskifahren auf den SUPs war kein Thema!

Die Crew war ausgesprochen nett: Ein toller Skipper, der uns auf unsere Bitte sogar sein Heimatdorf in Nordpemba gezeigt hat, ein Koch, der auf den zwei Herdflammen eine leckere Mahlzeit nach der anderen gezaubert hat (inklusive dem frischestens Fischcarpaccio ever) und eine zusätzliche "Deck Hand", die alles am Laufen hielt und uns ständig mit dem Dinghi herumkutschierte - und bis zum Schluss beim Schnorcheln immer in Sehentfernung blieb, falls doch jemand von uns Hilfe benötigt.

Wir würden (und werden evtl.) jederzeit wieder mit dem Boot und seiner Crew losziehen!
