With its ancient architecture and its elegant Chinese houses which date back to the beginning of the 20th century, taking a gentle walk down this old town will allow you to see what Phuket was like years ago with its boutiques, old hotels, local markets and boutiques. Do not miss: the Thai Hua Museum, Soi Rommanee and the old building of the Standard Chartered Bank. It’s interesting to see and discover a part of Thailand’s history.
This immense statue of Buddha is made from white marble and sits on the summit of Nakkerd Hill. 25 metres high, the statue is visible from every part of Phuket – so you won’t be able to miss it! It’s a religious site so you must cover your shoulders and arms when you visit. Sarongs are provided for women for free. Otherwise, you can simply go and enjoy the superb point of view.
An archipelago made up of 2 islands: Ko Phi Phi Don and Ko Phi Phi Leh. The latter has been used as the backdrop for a variety of films because of its gorgeous nature, and here you will always find Maya Bay. Despite the number of tourists who visit the island, this area has stayed untouched and magnificent. Arriving into Maya Bay during your yacht charter in Phuket is a spectacular moment. With white sand, majestic cliffs and emerald sea, the island is calm and tranquil, and this is why there are no cars allowed on land.
The Wat Chalong Temple is the biggest and most visited of the 29 temples which are open for visits in Phuket. Composed of 3 layers and 60 metres high, it was built at the beginning of the 19th century. If you want to explore more after the visit, there are enormous gardens surrounding the buildings. Koh Lone is ‘rural’ in every sense of the word. You can make a tour of the island without seeing anyone else which means that you have the crystal seas and white sands all to yourself. This places this island as the ideal place for practising snorkelling or diving. As the name suggests, the island is surrounded by coral reefs and on land, there is a wide expanse of green countryside.
