Temperatures reach their peak of just above 30°C during July and August which results in the high season for sailing. The predominant wind in the city comes from the south in the first half of the year, but then become a northerly wind as summer hits full swing. This wind, called the Ostro, is not too strong so anyone with a boat should be able to enjoy gentle sea breezes.
