Our family of 5 chartered the Mio Barco out of Palma for a week in June of 2024. We found the boat to be in excellent condition and a good size for our family. The charter process was easy and straight forward with Globe Sailor and Lisanne was readily available to answer all of our questions and coordinate our requests with the boat prior to arrival. Upon arrival the boat had arranged professional private transportation that met us at customs and transferred us to the Marina. We were greeted by the boats crew and realized right away that we had a great crew and a beautiful boat. All in all the trip was excellent as well as the base team and especially our crew on board the Mio Barco.

We were 7 Pax on the boat. The Boat ist not new, we new it, and we notice here and there the age...in general the boat is ok. Depending on your experience in yachting it could bother one or another. I have some experience with quiet new boat and for me it was bothering me a little bit that this is not working here one led off, there wooden broken or this is no more working correctly etc...but overall you also get a cheaper price on old boat than on new one...
The Boat is fast, 20 knots more or less, depending of the tide and wind, it was comfortable. Masterbedroom was nice and spacious. Climatisation was good. We could use the jetski, it was really fast and cool toy!
Crew is nice, Capt Grigoris was very kind drove us to some nice places. The cook did also his job as well as the maid-service.
Overall a very good experience.
There is less good stuff, here my notice:
- I would expect better food in "quality" than in quantity. The food was good but it was too much. I would expect in such a cruise more high end presentation and more direct serve on dishes than 3 bowls and help yourself...
- The boat has no battery, it means that the generator is running 24h...the boat is big but not so big, so all the cabins do hear the generator, during the nights, the masterbedroom probably the most...
- The dinghy is small, you cant go on shore on one way....thats also a bit anoying
- the crew can speak english, but its rather basic that advance. The capitain speak good english.

Would have given an excellent but the last night was sup-par. We spent it in a cove with graffiti on one side and heavy marine construction on the other. (Cranes and barges w construction!) We had already lost 1 night with airline travel issues and to lose another night to listening to construction was an awful way to end the cruise. The food was delicious. The service was exceptional. Not sure the itinerary was as flexible as suggested…..? We had a wonderful time, but we are going to make sure we enjoy each other since it is so hard to get away these days.

Excellent friendly staff that go that bit further to make your trip one to remember..
The islands we visited were excellent,the ships coordinator Isobel is extremely knowledge about the islands we visited.
Good choice of food drink. We stayed in one of the premium cabins which had lots of space. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping the boat spotlessly clean.

What a wonderful yachting trip with our family and our brother's family (4 adults and 5 older teenagers)! We put our faith in Captain Vangelis and the crew to show us the best of Greece, and they delivered with impeccable service and gracious style. From Poros, to Hydra, Spetses, Porto Heli, and more, we explored amazing Greek islands and experienced the local culture. Captain Vangelis has a calm, endearing demeanor and actively participates in all aspects of the cruise, even personally driving us on the tinder in rough weather. The crew delivered six-star service, going out of their way to ensure that all of our needs were met, especially sweet Kalliopi, the Chief Stew, who attended to our every need, and George, the Bosun, who kept us entertained with all the toys, especially the sea bobs and jet ski. Of course, the food makes the trip, and Chef Vangelis delivered with amazing cuisine, from traditional Greek meals and seafood, to Asian, to steaks with an American influence (and the best french fries ever)! Maria, the local agent, coordinated everything, including car service and stocking our preferred food and beverages. She met us at the boat on departure and return with a warm smile. And it all started with Lisanne from GlobeSailor, who worked with us to identify and retain the perfect yacht! Thanks to all!

Preparing our trip the manager was really helpful finding the right yacht AND a German speaking captain.
Our transfer to the yacht was outstanding.
But the Yacht... we could not believe our eyes.
It looked like brand new, was in a perfect condition.
The yacht was super but..... the crew was even better!
We had the time of our lives.
The captain brought us to nice places.
It was fun to see him docking the yacht: no rush but precise and secure.
We loved Korcula, Vis and Hvar, These cities were gorgeous.
When the captain looked for bays we could swim in he choose bays where the streaming wasn't strong so we could enjoy swimming and enjoy the extra tools on board..
Everything was perfect..
Leaving the yacht and saying goodbye to OUR crew felt like saying goodbye to dear friends.

It was the best holiday ever!!!!!!

We hit all the hot spots and a few others with our captains help! Always nice to see things like a local…. Would definitely recommenced anyone in this price range!!!!!
