Itinerary of your cruise
The captain has prepared a complete itinerary in one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world. Your cruise will be paced by daily stopovers that will allow you to immerse yourself in a particularly rich culture. You will meet Fijian villagers eager to share their customs and know-how.
DAY 1 : Port Denarau (Viti Island) - Modriki
You are scheduled to embark at Denarau port at 3pm. Once on board, the crew will guide you to your cabin, where you will drop off your belongings before leaving to explore every corner of the boat. You will then receive a quick briefing on safety instructions and the cruise itinerary. The captain will cast off and set sail for Modriki. This small deserted island became famous after the shooting of the famous film "Alone in the World" with Tom Hanks. During the crossing, you will get to know the other passengers over cocktails and appetizers served on the sun deck. The captain's welcome dinner will be followed by entertainment (singing, dancing...) organised by the crew. Night at anchor.
DAY 2 : Modriki - Naviti
You will have the morning to walk around Modriki, rest on its warm sand and take a swim. A little later, you will set sail again towards Naviti Island located in the north-west. Depending on the weather conditions, you will take a short break to go swimming alongside reef sharks. An unforgettable experience! Then, you will drop anchor in the bay of Soso. After lunch, you will meet the inhabitants of the Soso village. This moment of sharing will allow you to learn more about local customs and legends. We will propose you a diving or fishing excursion (optional) supervised by passionate people. Dinner and night on board.
DAY 3 : Naviti - Naukacuvu
In Fiji, Sunday is a day of rest. How would you feel about going to a church in a nearby village to attend mass? You will be charmed by the singing and the authentic atmosphere. Back on board, the crew weighs anchor and heads for Naukacuvu. During the navigation you will participate in a cooking class to learn how to concoct "Kokoda" (Fijian dish made of fish) or learn how to weave traditional baskets. You will anchor between the islands Naukacuva and Narara. Covered by a large forest, these islands will be perfect for a getaway followed by a snorkeling trip. There are many dive sites nearby (don't hesitate to ask the crew to organize an outing for you). Dinner and night on board.
DAY 4 : Naukacuvu - Waya
This morning, the crew invites you to a fishing trip to catch dinner. The captain then sets sail for Sacred Islands, four volcanic islands considered to be the cradle of Fijian culture. You will stop at Yalobi Bay and go down to the beach for a picnic. You will take advantage of your free afternoon to walk in the middle of this wilderness, kayak in the lagoon or simply relax in the shade of the coconut trees. In the afternoon, the chef will reveal you his secrets to cook a "roti in lolo" (a bread of Indian origin accompanied by coconut milk) and you will taste the traditional Fijian tea. Before dinner you will try the traditional coconut toss. Dinner and overnight at anchor.
DAY 5 : Waya - Nanuya Lailai
Your journey continues in this heavenly setting. You will stop in the famous and sublime Blue Lagoon surrounded by islands and preserved coral reefs. You will be surprised by the efficiency of the crew to anchor the ship by tying it by the stern to a coconut tree. After lunch, several activities will be proposed to you: snorkeling, observation of the underwater fauna through a glass-bottomed boat, beach volleyball (extra charge: massage and scuba diving). You will also learn how to open a coconut with ease. On the menu this evening is the delicious "Lovo", a dish based on vegetables and meat cooked underground. Villagers will join you for a Meke dance show and local songs. Overnight on board.
DAY 6 : Nanuya Lailai - Sawa-I-Lau
Why don't you start your day with a dip in crystal-clear water? You will then have the opportunity to follow a guide who will take you from the beach to the hill on the other side of the island. Don't forget your camera, the view is breathtaking! During this walk you will pass through an island village and discover its local market. You will return to the boat by water taxi. The cruise continues to Sawa-i-Lau, a limestone island with fascinating caves where the water reflects majestically on its walls. After this underground exploration, you will visit the Tamusua village and taste the specialties prepared by the women of the village. Overnight on board.
DAY 7 : Sawa-I-Lau - Drawaqa
You leave the beautiful bay of Tamusua to reach Drawaga Island. There, a marine biologist will teach you more about the different underwater species. If you are on site between May and October, you will witness the introduction of manta rays (weather permitting you can swim with these extraordinary creatures). From October to April, we will offer you a snorkeling excursion accompanied by a guide. Very appreciated by experienced divers, a diving trip can be organised on the site at an additional cost. We will also suggest land-based activities: a visit to a local school; a hike to the top of the cliff that will end with an abseiling descent. Barbecue dinner (depending on the weather). Night on board.
DAY 8 : Drawaqa - Port Denarau (Viti island)
Morning departure towards the main island, Viti. This last crossing will be the opportunity to take your last pictures of this idyllic place. You will disembark in Denareau harbour after breakfast, around 10 am.
