How to get to Göcek?

Göcek is situated 22km (or a 30-minute car ride) from the nearest airport, Dalaman International Airport (DLM). Charter-season flights to Dalaman Airport depart frequently from most major European cities. There are also various airlines operating direct flights to nearby Istanbul and Izmir. There is a year-round ferry service operating from Marmaris (Turkey) to Rhodes (Greece) and a summer-only service between Fethiye and Rhodes. Turkey is a non-EU country, so you may need to apply for an e-Visa online.

Below is an exemplary itinerary for an 8-day (7-night) catamaran charter in Göcek, Turkey. Day 5: From Simena to Kalkan (3-hour sail time). Like its neighbour Kas, Kalkan is a lovely Turkish seaside resort. Most travellers will prefer to relax in the sun on the beach, while history buffs will explore its many ancient Lycian remnants. Possibility to visit the magnificent historical site of Patara and to discover the birthplace of St Nicholas and Apollo.

Day 6: From Kalkan to Göcek Bay. Morning departure (3.5-hour sail time). Take advantage of your catamaran charter in Göcek by exploring the many swimming stops dotted around here. The island of Yassica, Domuz Adasi, etc. Night in cove.
