Seychelles

Day 1: Mahé – Sainte-Anne
Welcome on board! At 3 P.M you will embark on your catamaran and have a chance to meet your captain and crew. Once everybody is comfortable you will leave Mahé and make the short journey towards the Saint Anne marine park where there are more than 150 diverse species of fish. You will love snorkeling and exploring this underwater world. Dinner and the evening moored here.

Day 2 : Sainte-Anne - Praslin
After breakfast and a morning dive in this stunning natural aquarium, you will sail towards Praslin where you will moor at Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. After relaxing for a little while on its perfect white sands, make sure to explore the rest of this wonderful island, including the May Vallley which is a UNESCO world heritage site. Dinner and the night spent moored in front of the beach.

Day 3 : Praslin – La Digue
Today your captain will head towards the famous island of La Digue. Just as mesmerising in real life as in photographs, the beach of Anse Source is one of the most sought after in the world. The island is also home to some of the rarest birds on the planet, for example the black paradise fly-catcher, as well as a rich and diverse flora and fauna such as orchids and vanilla vines. The best ways to explore the island are by bike or horse and cart: see the traditional ship building port, harvesting and making of coconut based products and the giant turtles...

Day 4 : La Digue – Coco – Curieuse
This morning, head in the direction of Coco island, 7km to the north of La Digue. Classified as a marine national park since 1996, the island is an exceptional place to snorkel and also to dive. After a morning spent exploring the breathaking coral reefs, you will then sail towards the next island of Curieuse. It is home to an impressive number of giant turtles thanks to a project of protection and conservation.

Day 5 : Curieuse – Saint Pierre - Praslin
Today set sail in the morning for the islet of St Pierre. It's a tiny islet made up of granite rocks and dotted with coconut palms, one of the most recognisable images of the Seychelles. This is the perfect spot for a swim or some diving, or just simply relaxing all afternoon and then admiring the beautiful sunset. Dinner and the night spent moored in front of one of the beautiful beaches of Praslin.

Day 6 : Praslin – Cousin – Mahé
Your captain will head towards Cousin Island today. Managed by Birdlife International since 1975, it has been a nature reserve since 1968. It is a true paradise and is home to around 25,000 birds, some of which are extremely rare such as the Seychelles warbler. A colony of Geckos, imported from the Aldabra atoll, also happily pass their days on the island. You will then sail towards the large island of Mahé and moor in front of the Beau Vallon beach.

Day 7 : Mahé – Saint-Anne
Today is the last full day of your cruise, so relax and soak up the beautiful atmosphere and scenery in one of the beautiful bays on Mahé island, or discover the small town of Victoria its capital. Mahé is home to around 90% of the population of the archipelago and has a rich natural heritage. In the evening you will head back to the base at Roche Caïman, situated between the airport and Victoria, opposite the island of Cerf. Enjoy your last dinner and night on board.

Day 8 : Mahé
Last breakfast on board then you will disembark around 8 A.M to take your flight home or continue your dream holiday in the Seychelles.

    Sailing cruise in paradise

Our 7-day catamaran cruise was the perfect way to explore all 3 major islands of the Seychelles! Perfect crew (spontaneous captain who listened to our special requests, great chef who made perfect breakfast/ lunch/ dinner), interesting people with whom we came a long with very nicely, and great boat in good condition. Only points to improve: bigger windows in the cabin to open or even A/C, as it was quite warm in there during the night, and more places in the shadow to lie down on the boat

    Seychelles in pieno relax

L’organizzazione dell’itinerario in linea generale ben fatta.

Steve, nasz kucharz zawsze wymyślał cudowne, potrawy dostosowane do potrzeb każdego z pasażerów. Pyszne owoce i świeże ryby dopełniały obrazu całości.

    Sunny cruise in raining season

    Seychelles in catamarano: vacanza top

Skipper molto cordiale, puntuale e professionale.
Catamarano in perfette condizioni, con bellissime cabine, molto spazio a disposizione.
    L'itinerario proposto vario e completo.

  • What documents do I need in order to travel to the Seychelles?

You do not need a Visa for stays of up to 3 months in the Seychelles, however you should have a valid passport, be able to prove you have sufficient funds and present a return ticket.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
  • What currency is used in the Seychelles?

The local currency in the Seychelles is the Seychellois Rupee. In 2024 1 € = 14.96 SCR and 10 SCR = 0.66 €.
It is possible to pay in Euros or Dollars for accommodation, transport, some restaurants and tourist sites however of course the change will be given to you in rupees.
Credit cards, Visa and Mastercard principally, are excepted in most places, as well as travelers cheques in larger businesses.

The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding, either to the base or to GlobeSailor. Mandatory extras and options will be payable locally. Be sure to check with your advisor or the base prior to departure.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?
