This boat is exceptionally spacious, comfortable and well equipped.
6 pax with skipper who was first rate - very safety conscious and knew the Turkish coast from Gocek to east of Kas like he was born and raised there.
Knew it so well we did not have to spend one night in a Marina and still ate 5/7 nights in great on shore restaurants.
Cannot recommend it highly enough, including booking through Globe Sailor - very communicative and seamless engagement.
Everything was excellent!
We travelled slowly up the coast and watched magnificent rock formations along the way. We enjoyed jumping off the boat for our various swim stops. The food was delicious and the chef showed great talent . The captain was truly amazing and caring especially as one of the motors on the vessel stopped working and he had to single handed sail the catamaran back to our original port. We unfortunately missed a couple of swim stops, but the wind and waves unfortunately did not allow for swimming near the end of our cruise. However, we enjoyed the adventure of our trip, the aperitifs each day and the people we met on the boat. Communication from time of booking was prompt and professional! 5/5 star rating! We had an amazing week, in which we saw beautiful beaches, private lagoons, traditional villages and did not see another tourist the entire week. We are a family of four and felt the captain could not have done a better job finding locations that suited our active family. We snorkelled, kayaked, wake boarded, swam, paddled boarded and walked on so many beautiful beaches. We really couldn’t have had a better experience.
Easy booking with The Globesailor. Vincent was particularly helpful. The check-in and check-out with Sunsail Agana was very smooth, professional and efficient. The boat (Leopard 42) was in a good condition, well equipped and very clean. Agana Marina exceeded my expectations: modern/good amenities, lots of restaurants/bars/shops. It's very lively too with live music/events on Friday evening. Overall, the family had a great sailing holiday in the Split region. I highly recommend The Globesailor and this boat.
Minor issues: the sound system was not reliable (stopped working from time to time), the fuel gauge and the holding tank gauge were not working (inaccurate indication) but we were told about it at check-in so we didn't worry. The anchor chain length was only 50m which is a bit short for a 42ft cat. we'd have preferred at least 70m, but it's not critical, just a personal preference for when the weather is bad.
Overall the week was good , the boat was good with a small issue in relation to a smell from the toilet that comes and goes.
The hostess was good with excellent food provided in quality and quantity.
The skipper is very good in navigation having said he did not sleep in ibis cabin but rather in the living room without asking permission. He also left us one night in the boat and slept somewhere else without notifying me. From time to time he was not flexible to adjust the itinerary .
The boat is actually pretty good taken the age into consideration. It has been maintained quite well. The smell of toilet, especially in the left haul of the boat was really bad though. We emptied the tanks often, but it didn’t seem to have any effect
We had an excellent week with 7 on board. The boat was perfect and the support from Globe Sailor and the local base was great. Sailing was easy and we got the hang of mooring and anchoring after a day or two. No problems at all, loved it!
